The FESTO ADVU-12-70-P-A Compact Cylinder is a high-performance pneumatic actuator designed for precise and efficient operation in industrial automation systems. With a piston diameter of 12 mm and a stroke range from 1 mm to 200 mm, this double-acting cylinder ensures optimal performance across a variety of applications.
Equipped with elastic cushioning rings/plates at both ends, the ADVU-12-70-P-A minimizes impact energy (0.07 J) and reduces wear, ensuring a longer service life. The cylinder supports optional mounting positions and allows flexible installation either via through-holes or with accessories.
Designed for reliability, this compact cylinder operates at a pressure range of 0.12 MPa to 1 MPa (1.2 bar to 10 bar, 17.4 psi to 145 psi) and supports position detection via proximity switches. The corrosion resistance classification (CRC 2) ensures moderate protection against environmental stress, while LABS (PWIS) conformity (VDMA24364-B1/B2-L) guarantees compatibility with sensitive manufacturing environments.
The cylinder is built from durable materials, including a wrought aluminium alloy barrel and cover, high-alloy stainless steel piston rod, and dynamic seals made from NBR and TPE-U(PU). With a pneumatic connection size of M5, it integrates seamlessly into existing systems and can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +80 °C.
