Mild steel -low carbon steel is a type of carbon steel with a low amount of carbon, Nowadays, it is being produced with  0.05% to 0.25% carbon by weight. because of, carbon and alloying element content are relatively low, it is not alloy steel. Mild steel has various Grades including ST52, ST42, ST32, and more.

ISO 630 – 2 in particular,  has 7.85 g/cm³ Density, and the equivalent steel grades according to nationalities: EN 10025 in European union, JIS G 3135 in Japan, DIN 17100 in Germany with grades ST52, ST52-3, ST52-3U
